Matthew Seaton AiR Closing Reception

Come see selected works from Industry Lab's outgoing Artist in Residence Matthew Seaton! Drawing on a love of ecology, horticulture, and street art, Matthew's work combines parts of each and ranges from throwable magnetic planters to living murals.

Join us at the reception for interaction opportunities, wine and light snacks! Event is in the second-floor space (enter through side/back door).

Since the creation of Moss Graffiti and Reverse Graffiti, little has changed. Pinterest is dominated by the same basic stencils grown in moss or subway cars with their windows selectively cleaned to display an image, but technology and techniques have changed on both sides of this intersection. From L.E.D. Throwies and Laser Graffiti, to plant tissue culture and seed paper, the landscape has changed. Matthew Seaton looks at how technology, biology, and street art intersect to create things anyone can use to make public art for public good.
